‘We are seeing an uplift in allocations to our global sovereign bond portfolios on the back of our defensive style and investor concerns around diversifying their exposures to risk assets such as property and equities’ said Angela. ‘Advisers like the simplicity and transparency of our funds that makes it easy for investors to understand.’

Newly appointed Colchester BDM Monica Hood added: ‘I am delighted to be joining the Australian team. For me, Colchester’s’ appeal is its integrity, its single focus on managing sovereign bonds and its 20 year plus consistent track record. I look forward to working with both new and supporting advisors to build on our considerable distribution network of APL’s, model portfolios, SMA and managed account arrangements.’

Colchester has secured several top ratings from researchers, a broad selection of platform menu listings and many key APL, model and managed account inclusions. Colchester’s flagship fund, the Colchester Global Government Bond Fund has over A$728 million in FUM and is anticipating a continuation of this growth as the market’s desire to include core defensive fixed income assets continues.
